Sketch School is an application that is under construction at the moment, under the supervision of Barry Kudrowitz, a Professor at the University of Minnesota, College of Design. For this project, I provided the "front - end" design work for the app's interface.

The application is an educational tool, which enables students to to practice how to sketch accurately with intention to communicate ideas in a clear and concise matter.

The exploration and dissection of typography is an exercise that is of extreme importance in the world of graphic design. Pushing the boundaries of what a font is capable of and studying its finer nuances is what brings you to appreciate a "good" font/font family.

For this project, I was given a variety of text elements and instructed to apply a favorable font to create a series of spreads. The book was printed in two layers (white layer on ink jet plotter, matte finish; and the second was on a #50 recycled crown stock, printed black and white). Areas where white show-through were cut out by hand from the top layer. The book was then bound with a spiral binding.
